Since then, Eleanor really helped to put us at ease when chatting with her about what we wanted from our ceremony and what she needed from us to plan it. Talking with Eleanor was always a joyous and relaxed moment in the ongoing whirlwind of wedding planning.
On the day, the ceremony was incredibly well received, with our guests praising Eleanor very highly. We were both extremely happy with how much fun Eleanor injected into the ceremony and how personal it felt. There was laughter, tears and everybody loved it. Most of our guests had never been to a celebrant lead wedding before and said how nice it was for them to feel more involved with the ceremony and our union. Eleanor made it a great way to really share our most special day with our loved ones.
Working (and I say that loosely because it’s been such a blast) with The Full Stop Celebrant has been one of the most deeply personal things I’ve ever had to do. That’s something that at first I found quite uncomfortable. For those who may feel the same, I would still highly recommend letting Eleanor into your lives and for you to lean into the experience. She very quickly intuited that I was out of my comfort zone and gently guided me through to what in the end became a wonderful moment that I enjoyed with every fibre of my being. Of course I was nervous on my wedding day, but in the end it was perfect, largely down to Eleanor.
