I wrote about the role of a celebrant for Coco Weddings this month – the UK’s original style-focused wedding venue directory and an award-winning blog.
Celebrant wedding ceremonies are NOT just for people looking for off-beat or alternative wedding ceremonies. They are for everyone; people who want to celebrate their love stories their way. Celebrant ceremonies in luxury wedding venues, such as those Coco works with are becoming very popular. Coco works with stylish and high-end venues and suppliers for couples looking for bespoke elegance for their wedding day. In 2024/25 I’m booked for and have worked in six of Coco’s listed properties.
The role of the wedding celebrant
“While the wedding ceremony can sometimes be seen as a formality before the fun and festivities begin, our couples often tell us that it’s the part of the day they end up cherishing the most. This begs the question: why settle for a standard service when a celebrant can craft a ceremony that truly reflects your unique love story and vision?
While celebrant-led blessings are gaining popularity (hooray!), they remain less well-known than traditional legal ceremonies. Many couples default to registrar-led nuptials, unaware of the deeply personal and bespoke experience a celebrant can provide.”
