Hazel and Alex, a pair of wonderful people, absolutely adore Disney. They wanted their joint passion for the Disney Universe to take pride of place in their wedding and our ceremony. In September, this Wiltshire wedding party filled Wellington Barn with Disney Magic for them and their close family and friends. It was a beautiful, romantic and unique day that I’ll never forget! I mean, who could fail to get caught up in the vibe of this?
I love working with couples who have strong cultural preferences, all passions are fascinating to hear about! Hazel and Alex are the warmest, most gentle people and I loved planning the ceremony with them. We knew from the start that it was going to be very personal, and contain a lot of Disney references, whilst telling Alex and Hazel’s love story, which of course, is intertwined with their passion for Disney too.
Hazel’s entrance with her lovely dad was a big moment. I think this picture is one of my favourites of 2024. Alex went through about five stages of joy within two minutes. It was such a wonderful thing to be part of!
a perfectly personalised wedding ceremony
We kept the ceremony very relaxed and intimate. Hazel and Alex sat for the majority of the ceremony, under the watchful eye of their favourite cuddle toys which had dressed for the occasion. Hazel loves Winnie the Pooh the most, so, as a surprise, I borrowed a Winnie hair accessory from a Disney-loving mate to wear for the ceremony. Both Hazel and Alex didn’t want nerves to be a big feature of their day, so I wanted to help them relax and have as much fun as possible.
Hazel and Alex’s ceremony featured many Disney friends, from Winnie to Olaf, who all had something to say about love, and kindness. This was a ceremony where I could feel the waves of happy energy and encouragement coming from the guests as I spoke and as they made their vows to each other. Their vows were utterly tear-creating – we all cried at some point!
Here’s what Alex had to say about our ceremony (thanks Alex!):
From our first call with Eleanor through the the ceremony, and even on to our messages after – she was absolutely fantastic.
I wouldn’t have believed between meeting us once, a couple of video calls and a short questionnaire that someone would be able to get “us” quite so well if she hadn’t managed to do just that!
The ceremony was perfect, her attention to detail was fantastic and everything went as smoothly as it could.
She helped us write vows, and the entire day was brilliant. Thank you Eleanor – it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

And yes….I LOVE wearing this dress….please give me an excuse to bring this level of sparkle again!
