The Hall at Bradford On Avon is a spectacular Grade I listed Jacobean English Country house. This Jacobean Mansion is now available for weddings, and I’m beyond happy to say that I am the preferred Celebrant here. You can now get married in the seven acres of incredible lawned gardens and woodland, with the Hall as the backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Alongside the other carefully selected local suppliers, I can create the wedding ceremony of your dreams, whether it’s on the terrace, in one of the hidden follies and ornamental classically-inspired temples, or in a stunning sailcloth marquee on the lawns. And best of all? The Hall at Bradford On Avon is a dog friendly wedding venue.
The history of the Hall is fascinating. If you’re looking for a venue with beauty, freedom to create your own vision, wonderful gardens, serious Bridgerton or Classic British grandeur vibes, this is the place for you. Holding up to 120 guests, with three stunning bedrooms for you or your guests to use for getting ready and staying over, The Hall is yours for 48 hours for your wedding celebrations.
The Hall is perfect for couples who want their wedding ceremony to be a personalised celebration of their love story, or couples from overseas who want a celebrant ceremony to mark their marriage. Your wedding ceremony can include aisle walks, rings, personalised vows, readings, poetry, music, huge amounts of laughter and happy tears, and will be unique to you. With me, nobody will have a ceremony like yours at The Hall.
I absolutely adore the wedding and events team at The Hall, their positivity and clear love for this building and its previous inhabitants really shines. Christine and Bella will introduce you to their supplier portfolio, all of whom, like me, are local to The Hall and provide services in keeping with the venue’s ambience. Collectively, we want The Hall to be an accessible wedding choice to all couples. It’s competitive pricing packages, fun and creative attitude, commitment to LGBTQ+ allyship, sustainability goals and preference for local suppliers is all completely in keeping with the history of the building and its occupants.
If you would like to view The Hall, or speak to me about what your ceremony there could look like, get in touch with me here, or Bella at The Hall. We’re booking 2025/2026 weddings right now. It’s truly a spellbinding place in any season. These pictures were taken in November 2024, but you can see much of the diversity of the flora and fauna; there are sweeping lawns, secret spots behind tall hedges, waterlily covered ponds, discreet wooded pathways and terrace views for days with that honey-coloured classic Cotswolds stone mansion backdrop. Imagine your ceremony in front of that huge ornate door, surrounded by a floral archway. And the photos on that staircase – amazing!
Let’s plan your wedding ceremony at The Hall together. Drop me a message today if you’re putting it on your shortlist, and we can talk about how to make this day perfect for you. Ps – yes, Mack is available as a ring bearer, or as a wedding support animal/hoover. He’s pretty cheap – he’ll do anything for a pinch of parmesan cheese, just ask the wonderful Harriet Fuller who took these incredible pictures.
